How can you make yourself (understand)if you can't express yourself clearly?

make yourself understood （by others）
因为意为“是你自己被人听懂”;而如果是make others_____ you 则应添understand 动词原形了,因为让他人听懂你.
关键在于看非谓语动词understood 与逻辑主语间关系是主动还是被动.相似结构有：have sb._____ 与 have sth.______前者 do,后者则应为 done 了.

eg：When you talk, you have to at least made yourself understood.
你说话时至少要让别人听懂。
He spoke so loudly as to make himself understood.
他抬高声音说话...
