2.a little是程度副词,表示“一点点”.
a little more than three months可以翻译为“三个月多一点”.

根据before后面的时态已经是过去时，那么在过去的过去应该用过去完成时。
如果是这样就把before改掉
指的是时间。

1 是错句。应该是：I WAS already in the second half of Senior Grade 3 before I realized it. 你的be动词是was,不能是had been,因为强调的是状态，不是动作，再说，也没有for - - - - / since- - - - 之类的时间状语。
