为什么不选A?Although虽然只能跟句子,但是这里不是省略句吗?就是说省略了it is.

我认为是A,
Despite her great age, she was very graceful indeed
despite 介词后面只能接名词或名词性词组
这里 only 1 or 2 inches long 明显是个形容词词组
only 1 or 2 inches 修饰 long
介词后面不能只跟形容词的,需要改成Despite only 1 or 2 inches in length
