y the extent 我没记错的话是某种程度上来说,to which 引导定语从句,后面的句子是用来解释到达的那种程度的,然后rather than those of the students这里的those是只带前面出现过的东西,也就是the interest,因为重复出现,所以在than后面用those来代替,为什么不用that内?因为这里的interest解释为利益,这里是不可数名词.恩……应该就是这样了.至于难点么.就是than后面的跟的重复的内容的用法了,比方说你要搞清楚什么时候用that 什么时候用those……
