the way后接定语从句的问题
定语从句中,the way后面可以接三种形式：the way that...、the way in which...、the way什么都不加.在句中：I like the way in which he talks.从句中不缺少成分,所以用in which,但在I like the way that he talks.一句中,从句为什么要用that?定语从句里that不是要充当成分呢么?还有I like the way he talks.为什么要什么都不加?
我想知道具体的原因，

that很多情况下都可以省略的,正因为什么成分都不充当,所以才能省略.你说的那三种情况其实都对,怎么用都行.
也就是说在定语从句中 in which= that = (that省略)

I like the way in which he talks.从句中不是不缺少成分，而是in which 充当了talk的宾语，in which指代in the way；同理that也可指代the way，做宾语。最后可以省略是因为he talks 的主句已经很清楚，就是the way ，因此he talks后置和 the way一起表示一个从句。

例如：
