首先你要知道 spend sth in doing sth 或者 spend sth on sth 的句型,由句子看来,可以知道定语从句中spend后面缺少宾语,因此要用 which/that,而要使用when的前提是不缺成分.例如：
I still remember the day when we spent money together.

又或者是 我仍然记得 那一天.. (用that)
when 指什么时候..不适合
