in the present 和at present 的区别
in the present 和 at present 意思好像都差不多.但高中英语必修1顶尖第29页第2题：Forget about it.We live ____,not the past.
A,in the present B.at present C.nowadays D.for present
我是选B,但A才是正确答案.A和B有什么区别,什么时候用A,什么时候用B?还有C和D的选项也说一下吧!

Forget about it.We live in the present ,not live in the past.
in 是和前面的live连用的,the present 是“现在”意,是个名词.at present 是个时间状语成分,不用作live in 的宾语.所以选择A.
原句为：别想这事了,我们是生活在现在,而不是生活在过去.

at present指“在现在”，表示时间；in the present中的the present相当于the present world。又如，in the open=in the open space/air, in the wild=in the wild world, in the wide=in the wide world/space，等等。

原则上没有前面这个短语，一般我们用in the past,at present,in the future.at present是现在的意思。 前着当场后者目前 in the present: 在.

这个主要考查live in，in并不是和present构成词组的。严格讲这里并没有固定的词组，只是动词+介词+时间而已。
写全了就是：We live in the present. We don't live in the past.
