Recently,I have read a biography which is called Clara Barton:Courage under Fire andthe book is written by Janet & Geoff Benge,published by Emerald Books.Thebook tells about a woman who spent her life caring for others,Clara Barton.She was a pioneer American teacher,patent clerk,nurse,and humanitarian.And one of her greatest accomplishments was founding the American Red Cross.
Although I read very little English Biography,but I enjoy the book very much,and I think I will recommend this book to my friends.Frist,by reading the biography,it can improve my English.Second,the book has a clear structure and rich incontent.Third,Iam very interested in the hero's transformation in her life,and I think she is my hero.Sometimes I am timid,and by reading the book,I think I should change myself,also I will do my best to help everyone who is in trouble.As written in the book:Her desire was to help any soldier,Confederate or Union,black or white,Spanishor American,Christian or Muslim.
