For NiNi to be able to exempt from the IELTS test,the education provider must provide us a waiver letter and a number of other conditions.Please refer to the attached supplementry form the the immigration office for more information.
I checked with the International Student Centre which handles all the O/S students enrolling for Public High Schools and was told that they wont issue such waiver letter to any individual except for certain 'Waiver Ready' Registered Immigration Agents.I've attached a list of them for you to make inquiries.There is no Agent in Shantou but lots in Guang Zhou,a few in FuJian & one in DongGuan.Remember,not every agent is 'Waiver Ready' so need to pick the ones on the list.
I will make some further enquires with the Agents in Australia and check with some other private schools.I should be able to go into the student centre next week to firm up the information provided.
The other option is to have NiNi sit for the IELTs test.If she is prepared to do the English course before commencing year 11,then she only needs to get 4.0 in the test result.You can book for IELTs test in www.***.org
