“客从主变”旨在强调任何原语的商标名必须经过翻译译语语言符号系统的驯化和改造,这种驯化和改造具有强制性,突出表现在原语商标名的语符、语音、语义等在译语了都会不同程度的发生改变.就是说,原语商标符号是表音文字的,在其翻译过程中一定要变成表译文字；反之亦然.即使同属印欧语系的表音文字的原语与译语之也要接受这种驯化和改造.
“入乡随俗”旨在强地哦啊商标名的翻译必须适切译语的语言环境因素,特别的适切译语的民族文化语境.
