应该是It is a wonderful place to live in.不定式to live in 和它所修饰的名词a wonderful place 是动宾关系,即语序可调整为to live in a wonderful place.

动词live 与他的逻辑主语 place 之间有逻辑关系。
即 live in the place.
所以 在动词后应该有 逻辑介词表示这种逻辑关系。
