谓语一般是在主语后面.比如 I go to school early in the morning. 句子中I 是主语,后面的go to school 是动词词组做谓语.英语中谓语的位置比较固定.有时候,为了强调句子的某个成分,比如状语,也可以把这部分提前,但谓语的位置不变.比如,There are two books on the table. 是正常语序.On the table are two books. 就是把状语提前,但谓语are 的位置不变.
谓语是由动词担当的.学过的动词都可以充当谓语.
