A wonderful experience in Germany.
Fasching is one of the most fasinating traditional festivals in Germany.
We are told that a pageant(Festzug)will be held there,so we decided to have a look.It was held between 1or 2
o'clock,but we went a bit late.
As we arrived,we were astonished by what we saw:thousands of people
lined up on both sides of the main street,capering and shouting by the music which came out from the
decorated truck continuely.Es gibt ungefaehr fuenfzehn Camione(not sure about this word).People on the trucks
not only dancing and shouting,but also distributing advertisement paper,bonbons as well.They wore every kinds of
queer clothes(i even saw a man dressed like the count Dracula!) and every smiling face was covered with
colourful paintings.This festival is much more interesting than the Christmas,which is considered as the most
important festival in western countries.
We followed the troop for about half an hour,then we went back.
It was a wonderful day.
