A happy winter vacation
It is always nice to see the city being covered with white flurry flakes. The nice smell of the delicious turkey and the subtle smell of wines adorn the Christmas. Christmas is the happiest thing in this winter vacation. It is the time for my parents to accomplish their promises of buying new clothes for me which they made in the beginning of the year. Even though I am not a child who believes in Santa any more, I still expect some gifts to be lied under the Christmas tree when I open my eyes in the next morning. This little expectation makes me feel excited. On the Boxing Day, I cannot wait to drag my parents out of their beds and urge them to go shopping. We went out with bare hands but we came back with two bags holding in every hand of each person. There are not just clothes but also our content and our happiness.
There is one more thing which makes the vacation even happier. I got a free ticket to Paris, the place I have been longing for a great many years. I nearly jumped high enough to reach the roof. From the day I got my ticket, i kept dreaming Paris in my head. I am looking forward to finding out the differences between my imaginary world of Paris and the Paris in reality. I thank God, for his birth and also the gift he gives me on the day of his birth.
My winter vocation
Today is January twenty—thirtieth . It’s the first day of the winter
vacation . I got up very late at about half past nine . because
Ifelt litter tired. In normal times , I must get up at six o’clock ,
or I’ll be late for school. But now I am on vacation. I don’t have
to go to school. How wonderful !
During this vacation I will surely feel more light—hearted than when
I am in school . I can do lots of interesting things that I wanted
to do but had no time to do . For example , I can play basketball ,
computer games and some other games . But of course , I must always
remember that I am still a student . I still need to learn a lot of
books , gain a lot of new knowledge , of course , finish my homework
. I hope I will have a wonderful time during the winter vacation .
Now is nearly spring Festival , It’s the most important festival in
China . It’s on January . It’s according to the Chinese lunar
calender . On New Year’s Eve , each family will gather together
eating , talking and watching TV for almost the whole night . And
there will be some interesting programmers on TV . The children are
the happiest of all bceause they can get presents from their parents
or grandparents .
I think this vointer vacation must be happy and plentiful !
