一般表示过去常常我们用be used to do,而was often后面如果加动词要用ing形式,所以你的句子应该是he was often singing a song.
he often be in bed也是错的,be用原型的时候一般是虚拟should be.改为he is often in bed.

要有语境啊~表过去的话就用WAS
另外你sing后不应该有ING么
只能说he's often in bed,
