1.因为从翻译上“地球的大部分表面都被水覆盖”,我们可以得知这是被动语态,所以排除A、D.又因为surface 是不可数名词,所以要用单数的is covered
故选B.
2.这题也是,“当工作被做好了,工人就可以吃午饭了”而work是不可数名词.故用is done.
3.这里不可以用need,“她需要一些巧克力”但她是第三人称单数,所以必须用needs.另外,need的用法还有sb need to do sth
