must带有强调,甚至命令的意味.翻译成中文,“必须”也带有类似的色彩.第一题,我猜测全句大概是我们会尽快决定房子卖给谁,你明天将会得到答案.用will是最合适不过的,用must 语法上一点错没有,但不通情理,也不符合礼节.而第二题就比较有意思了,第二句其实是猜测john为什么这么annoy,这是一种极为肯定的猜测.换句话说,如果不是因为choose the day I had friends coming,john肯定不会这么annoy.换做任何一个词,都表达不出这种意思.有时候选择选得不是对错,而是最符合情理,文化和礼节的答案.
