fire 是泛指，所以不必加the，而火是被发明的（火是发明的么？我以为只是发现？呵），所以要用was invented.

据说，有好几种生火的方法。
句子确实有误，fire前面的the 去掉，后面加is。
楼上的几位同学都错了吧，要主谓一致的，前面是is和are 后面fire那里就得用is
