为什么要填最高级呢?两个事物相比,不是应该为比较级.不是三个或者三个以上才是最高级的么?

你说得对,这句话肯定有问题,应该是Tom is (the taller) of the two boys.比较级前一般不用THE,但当句中的OF THE TWO时要加THE,特指两者中较……的那个.

答案是对的，不过我得由衷的感叹一下，现在的英语考试太变态了啊
用taller的话，必须有比较级的情况下才可以，就是后面出现了“than”：Tom is taller than another boy. 类似的 Tom is taller
than the other two boys, three boys,这样的结构都得用taller，并不局限在必须是两个人
而talle...
