swimming和sitting是被比较的双方,应该形式一致.
2.He insists that you should be on time for the appointment you made.
insist后跟宾语从句时,谓语动词一般用（should） do sth

hardly本身就是几乎不能的意思,不需要有not.
4.You will never succeed in getting at the truth if you think you know,ahead of time,what the truth should be.
succeed in doing sth.短语：成功地做到.
