如果要选A ,则是这样. a three- foot-deep hole
three- foot -deep 是复合形容词做定语 (英尺要用单数）
就像a 10-year-old boy 复合形容词做定语
a boy is 10 years old 做表语
而c =a hole which isthree feet deep这里的three feet deep 实际上做了表语

不能单独看，得放到整个句子中看他是做定语还是做表语的
做定语的，要用复合形容词（加连字符，并且用单数）
做表语的，不用连字符，用复数
你单独看中文意思，就会觉得没区别

那a table which is small round wooden 是对的吧，感觉a table small round wooden 就是不对的诶。我的意思就是为什么就不能用 a three feet deep hole 前面全部都用当做形容词，就像 a small round wooden table一样。small round wooden 都形容table

因为which is 可以省略
就像是，i have a friend called Tom = i have a friend who is called Tom 一样
前面是过去分词做后置定语，后面是定语从句
两者是一样的
而你的原题，就是考察前置定语要用连字符，单数
这也是D 不对的原因
