a.for the function y=f(x) -> y=-2f[(x+3)]-4.think of how to move.first move x left to 3 units,then move y down to 2 units.then extend the whole function with 2 units,and reflect it.
b.for the function y=x^2.think about what is gonna be the new graph of the fuction y=-2(x+3)^2-4=-2(x^2+6x+11).therefore we can see it's how a parabola function moves.first,reflect the function of f(x)=x^2 and extend by 2 units.afterwards,let x=0 we found y=-22 which means it moves down by 22 units.
good luck.
