How do the americans like to be called?Most of them don't object ——them by their first names?
A.that I call B.for calling C.to my calling D.to call
答案选择C,咱知道object to doing可以选C
但是A选项是object +that 从句,也翻译得通啊,为啥不行呢?

1、object to 反对; 对…反感
2、用A的话
that后是object的宾语从句,object作不赞成、反对讲的时候,是不及物动词,后不能直接接宾语或宾语从句.如：He didn't object.
3、object+that的话,是及物动词,“以……理由反对”,通常是物做主语,不可能以“你”为理由反对. 如：
They objected that the plan was risky.
他们反对说, 这项计划是冒险的
