省略了she ,因为从句的主语和主句是一样的
as though she want to make sure she was not being followed
意思是好象她想要确认没有被人跟踪.

sue应该是sure吧．因为句意就是她不时的东张西望以确认她没被跟踪．so that是以致于的意思．as though是甚至的意思．in case不能加不定式.
