In Yuan Dynasty,Han people wanted to fight against Mongolian invaders but they couldn’t tell the news to everyone.A man called Liu Bowen thought of a good idea.He spread out a news that there would be a pestilence in that winter.Most people would lost their lives unless they buy same mooncakes to eat.Everyone believed it.When they ate the mooncakes,they found a note in each,which said :’fight against the Mongolian invade on the evening of lunar Aug.15th.’ People responded to it and finally they drove the Mongolian invaders out of China.People decided to eat mooncakes on that day and the custom has passed down.
