1.楼主啊,这里是定语从句,而不是原因状语从句,当然是用as不能用since了.
2.as可引导非限制性定语从句.as做为关系代词,代替整句主语,在定语从句中充当一定成分.
此处as代替your request will be considered at the next meeting这句话(也就是先行词了),做定语从句I explained( )on the phone.中explained的宾语啊.
3.which也有这个功能.但是它引导的非限制性定语从句不能放在主句之首;而且as有"正如/像..."之意,而which没有这种含义.
4.此句话翻译为:正如我在电话中解释过的那样,你的要求/请求将会在下次会议中得到考虑.
另举一例:As I have told you,you failed in the exam.
as代替后面的整个句子做told you sth中的sth.
